Driving Growth Through Design at Global Scale
As Director of Product Design for Acquisition and Monetization at Crunchyroll, I lead the strategy and execution of experiences that transform anime fans into lifelong subscribers. Partnering across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, I oversee the end-to-end growth ecosystem—including acquisition, onboarding, subscriptions, payments, pricing, experimentation, and retention.
Between 2024 and 2026, Crunchyroll grew from more than 15 million to over 21 million paid subscribers, representing one of the most significant periods of subscriber growth in the company’s history. During this time, I helped shape the vision, strategy, and design systems that powered global growth initiatives across web, mobile, and connected platforms. By embedding experimentation into the product development process, aligning customer needs with business objectives, and elevating design as a strategic growth partner, my team delivered experiences that increased conversion, reduced friction across critical subscription journeys, and unlocked new monetization opportunities at scale.
My role extends beyond designing screens—I build and lead high-performing teams, establish cross-functional alignment, and create the frameworks that enable data-informed decision making. The result is measurable business impact: accelerating subscriber growth, strengthening customer lifetime value, and helping millions of anime fans around the world discover, subscribe to, and stay engaged with Crunchyroll.
